Otherwise, please do not claim membership of our design team.
We often see members including their experience at Waterloo Reality Labs on their LinkedIn and other social media platforms. We recommend that when adding your title, you refrain from using the “engineer” designation. Here are a few example titles that we (and the CEAB) would deem acceptable:
- Mechanical Designer
- Hardware Designer
- Web Developer
- Electrical Team Member
- Software Team Lead
Failure to claim an appropriate position on the team misrepresents your involvement, degrades the perception of our org, and is generally embarrassing. Don’t do it!
