Steps to Import .IntLib
into Altium 365
1. Extract the Libraries from .IntLib
- Open Altium Designer.
- Go to File > Open and select your
.IntLib
file.
- Once opened, go to Projects Panel > Libraries.
- Right-click the Integrated Library and select Extract Sources to Project.
- This will generate:
- A Schematic Library (
.SchLib
)
- A PCB Library (
.PcbLib
)
2. Import .PcbLib
(Footprint Library) to Altium 365
- Open Altium 365 Web Interface.
- Navigate to Libraries > Footprints.
- Click Upload and select the extracted
.PcbLib
file.
- This ensures that all footprints are available in the cloud.
3. Import .SchLib
(Schematic Library) to Altium 365
- In Altium Designer, open the Library Importer:
- Click File > Library Importer.
- Select Add Library and choose your extracted
.SchLib
file.
- Ensure components are correctly mapped to footprints in the cloud.
- Click Import to Server to push the schematic symbols into Altium 365.
4. Re-Link Components in Altium 365
- Go to Libraries > Components and check that your components are correctly linked to their footprints.
